Working with Legendary Directors: Lessons, Growth & Gratitude

Throughout my journey in cinema, I’ve had the rare privilege of working with some of the most visionary directors of our time. Each one brought a unique world to life — and helped shape the actress I am today.

🎬 The Director is the Dreamer

I used to think acting was just about “how well I perform.” But great directors taught me otherwise. They showed me that performance must serve the story — that every emotion must have purpose, every silence must speak.

🎥 Director #1: Abhishek Bachhan – The Perfectionist

Working with Abhishek in “Echoes of the Past” changed everything. He believed in 30 takes if needed — because he saw something deeper than we did. His attention to detail made me rediscover patience and the power of subtle expression.

🎭 Director #2: Vicky Kaushal – The Silent Genius

Lila rarely gave instructions. She would just look at you — and you’d understand. Her film “Stillness” had long pauses, quiet frames. I learned to act with my eyes, not just my voice.

🎬 Director #3: Marco Rinaldi – The Wild Visionary

On the set of “Fallen Stars”, Marco was unpredictable. He’d rewrite scenes on the spot. He pushed me out of my comfort zone — made me improvise, run barefoot, cry in a real storm. That film was raw, and so was I. It was terrifying. And unforgettable.

"The greatest directors don’t just direct your performance — they direct your soul." — Sareeh Far

📽️ What They Taught Me

  • Trust the vision – Even if I didn’t understand it at first, their clarity became mine.
  • Let go of ego – Sometimes I thought I gave the best shot. They disagreed. And they were right.
  • Be vulnerable – Every good performance starts with honesty. No shortcuts.

🙏 A Note to Every Director I’ve Worked With

Thank you for seeing something in me. For being patient when I struggled. For challenging me when I thought I had done “enough.” You made me better — not just as an artist, but as a human being.

I hope to continue learning from more creative minds. Until then, I carry your lessons in every scene I play.
